It has been...a hotttttttt second since my last blog post. October went and gone TOO fast! I coordinated my very first wedding and to define that experience, whew, happy insanity is a pretty much sums that up. 

But I'm back! We back! This is exciting because I looooooove pumpkin. Yes I am that basic gal. Always have been. My friend bought me a "pumpkin spice everything" top and I probably wear it way more often much than I should..

But any who! Today we makin' authentic pumpkin pie y'all! Authentic you ask? YES AUTHENTIC. FROM A REAL PUMPKIN. When my boyfriend said.."I'm gonna make a pumpkin pie tonight. With an actual pumpkin." My emotions were everywhere! I was skeptical at first cause my lazy self was like.. um that sounds like hella a lot of work. But then my pumpkin loving self was like...UM WOW, YES.

ITS FALL Y'ALL

I can actually say that because it's actually the first day of fall which is actually v exciting. In Florida, you have to pretend it's fall. Sometimes she wakes up and tries to bless you with actual crisp fall air but then most days she's waking up on the wrong side of the bed not knowing what day, year, or season it is. 

It took everything in my bones not to go heavy overload crazy on this wishlist. I practically narrowed 51 items down to 12. (mini self accomplishment) And they're mostly from the same stores because once I'm on one online store, before I know it I'm 13 pages in wanting everything.

23 things I've learned by 23

Today is my birthday and I'm not sure I've accepted that just yet. I'm a preteen into my mid twenties. wtf. Part of me still feels like that 16 year old girl needing help finding her bus at the bus loop, then the other part of me is this grown adult ready to conquer the world, get married, and have babies. (Maybe not the babies yet, but ya get my drift.)
So I've made it to 23, and in honor of that I've decided to tell you 23 things I have learned by the age of 23.

My Hot Summer TV Shows List

So as I was sitting at work, I thought to myself wow you've watched a lot of shows this summer Shelbie, you should probably get your life together and do something actually productive. But jokes on you world! I'm turning my lazy days into productivity! Like literally I binge a whole series in one day... but it's fine because I take it as an accomplishment.. But anway! This summer brought out the ultimate teenage self in me, but also the darker(ish) side. So here's my summer top 10 tv shows!

Country Concert Inspiration

In Florida, saying concerts are hot is an understatement. Especially since most country concerts are outside. I've been to a couple inside, and I gotta say, there's nothing more that compares to boots, beer, and country music being outside in the fresh humid air. It's always fun watching white girl wasted, too drunk to function, gals get in fights at a concert. At a Miranda Lambert concert she stopped in mid song and yelled to the miscreants down below, "Y'all just gonna continue to fight or are y'all gonna actually pay attention to my singin'" Gotta love her sass. But anyway, there's a lifestyle to country concerts that just soothes the soul. And of course ya gotta look good for them! (Actually don't have to because country concerts can be the most laid back type of concert, but ya know, guacamoles extra and so am I) So here's a couple budget friendly country concert looks!

Other than the fact that I've been wanting, dreaming, over thinking, about making a blog for 5 years now, I have been ultimately craving a more creative outlet for myself. And today on July 10th, 2017 at 1:13 in the morning, Shelbie Says is born.

I named it 'Shelbie Says' because me being Shelbie, I have a lot to say. 

And now I finally have a place to put it all. 

On here, you'll find posts that come from my heart, posts about Disney, posts about food, 

 posts about fashion, travel, (currently planning a trip to Ireland in 2018) (WHAT). Posts about bridal stuff, decor, and so much stinkin' more!

We got exciting things coming up.
